Operations Manager Opportunity

you’ll have the exciting ability to have a major impact on our fundamental business opearations.  You should be a Project / Program / Operations Manager ninja, someone who can take control of any situation, create a plan, assemble your forces and lead.  This position will wear many hats and jump in as needed in almost every facet of the business while primarily leading our internal and external execution.   

you will be responsible for conducting strategic projects and supporting internal apogos business units and external consultants to execute the company’s mission through analytics, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration. 

You’ll need to be able to think “big picture” and actively identify strategic direction but will also be willing to roll up your sleeves. From developing business cases and facilitating decisions to building analytical frameworks and solutions that directly impact the ability for apogos to scale, you will enable the achievement of the company’s most critical strategic goals and objectives. 

This is an individual contributor role with no people-management responsibilities to start. your impact is driven by strategic advice and aligning with internal and external stakeholders to drive projects. 

  • identify opportunities to improve efficiency of product delivery and support, customer feedback and requirements gathering, internal business process including Microsoft systems and applications. 
  • help build business cases for new initiatives, including development of KPIs.
  • frame and break down complex business problems into key components, design analysis to drive insights and answer critical questions, and recommend practical solutions to get results.
  • information technology system evaluations, development, configuration, change management and maintenance.  we are a Microsoft shop and we walk the walk so we leverage Microsoft technologies internally and for product development.
  • use analytical frameworks to support leadership in business decision making.
  • manage the seamless execution of complex and time critical projects by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized approach for resolution.
  • stay on top of market trends and changes in the competitive landscape and share appropriate insights with the team.
  • great sense of urgency; familiarity with high growth operations.
  • a ‘driver’ personality, biased towards action; a simplifier – constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery.
  • experience working with a variety of business partners/ stakeholders including senior management and/ or executives. 
  • excellent communication skills; strong organization skills including consistent follow-up.
  • Bachelor degree with specialization in business, finance or related field of study; MBA desired but not required. 
  • experience with an enterprise software company is preferred.
  • proven experience with Microsoft technology is critical: Office 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps.
  • proven experience using project management methodologies and tools; PMP certification desired but not required. 
  • proven experience identifying potential innovative ideas, framing a business case and executing the idea through to completion. 
  • demonstrated ability to coordinate and effect change, and process improvements. 
  • adept at managing multiple, complex priorities and balancing the needs of various stakeholders.
